On the eve of the May 26 UN Security Council debate on the UN Charter, the Moscow-based international-affairs journal New Eastern Outlook has carried a substantive synthesis of the Schiller Institute’s Extended Oasis Plan, former Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu’s four-point regional framework, and Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s May 17 open letter to the governments meeting at the UN Security Council. NEO, founded in 2010, publishes English-, Russian-, and Arabic-language analysis from a multipolar perspective.
The piece, “LaRouche’s Peace Through Development: A Vision for Solving Humanity’s Crisis,” is by Tamer Mansour, who has participated in the International Peace Coalition and is a contributor to NEO whose prior writing on Lyndon LaRouche includes articles on his world economic outlook and a longer article on LaRouche’s role in the world, both for the same Moscow journal in April 2025.
Mansour conducted an interview with Helga Zepp-LaRouche in March 2026.
