A short note on the website of the U.S. Treasury Department announced that sanctions against Francesca Albanese have been lifted. Albanese is the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, who was sanctioned as a result of her work to document Israeli conduct in Gaza. Her removal from the sanctions list occurs a few days after a U.S. federal judge had temporarily suspended those sanctions as unconstitutional.
