U.A.E. and Israel Set Up Joint Defense Fund, Primed To Attack Iran

The U.A.E. and Israel have established a fund to jointly acquire and develop new weapons systems together, the May 18 Middle East Eye (MEE) reports in an article, “U.A.E. and Israel Established Fund for Joint Defense Acquisition, Sources Say.”

Since the September 15, 2020 signing of the Abraham Accord Declaration by Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, devised by the City of London financier oligarchy and supported by the first Donald Trump Presidency, the U.A.E. and Israel have formed an ever closer interlocked financial-strategic-defense alliance. The Abraham Accords, which are the basis of Trump’s Middle East “Peace Board,” were set up to protect Israel’s security interests, build a speculative, resort-driven “Rivera in Gaza,” and steer Gazan Palestinians into a restricted area, with little human existence or freedom.

In turn, the Israeli-U.A.E. alliance is a pivotal part of the larger British-U.S.-Israeli-U.A.E. alliance, which is the motivating force and one of the most consequential ones that drove the invasion of Iran on February 28 of this year, and also the attack on Iran by this same alliance for 12 days in June 2025.

Middle East Eye, which interviewed one current and one former U.S. official who were briefed on the matter, reported on the formation of the Israeli-U.A.E. joint weapons fund, “The agreement was cemented when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the U.A.E. during the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, the [current] official said. Netanyahu’s office issued an official statement regarding the visit.” This would have been on March 26, the date Netanyahu claims he met with U.A.E. President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The U.A.E. government denies that such a meeting took place.

“The U.A.E.-Israel relationship is the best it’s ever been. This is the closest cooperation Israel has ever had with an Arab country,” Yoel Guzansky of the Tel-Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies, told MEE. He added that a joint fund to develop weapons systems was a logical next step.

Further buttressing the claim of close cooperation of the U.A.E. and Israel, U.S. Ambassador to Israel and Christian Zionist Mike Huckabee confirmed May 12 that Israel sent Israel’s Iron Dome defense batteries along with trained Israeli military personnel to the U.A.E., for deployment against Iran. This is apparently the first country outside of Israel and the United States that has been given Israel’s Iron Dome system.

In fact, Israel and the U.A.E. are integrating their defense systems. In June 2025, the U.A.E. defense firm Edge Group acquired a 30% stake in Israel’s Thirdeye Systems, which incorporates AI technology into drones

However, the British monarchy’s Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) goes even further, boasting in a May 7 lengthy report, “Iran War Grew U.A.E.-Israel Security Ties: Normalization’s Peril, Promise,” of the success of the Israeli-U.A.E. axis. RUSI brags that “in 2022, Israel reportedly transferred advanced air defense systems such as the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems-made Spyder mobile interceptors and Barak systems to Abu Dhabi,” the capital of the U.A.E.

The U.A.E. has gone into major defense deals with European nations, including a joint venture with Italy’s defense giant Leonardo to produce weapons for the U.A.E., and another joint venture with France’s CMN NAVAL, one of Europe’s premier shipbuilding groups.

U.A.E. is a center for financial speculation and resorts, and has supplanted Saudi Arabia as the largest financial center in the Arab world. During the February 28 invasion of Iran and subsequently, it has presented itself as a so-called innocent victim and bystander. In reality, it operates, for the most part, as a British-Israeli asset in the Arab world.May 21, 2026 (EIRNS)—The U.A.E. and Israel have established a fund to jointly acquire and develop new weapons systems together, the May 18 Middle East Eye (MEE) reports in an article, “U.A.E. and Israel Established Fund for Joint Defense Acquisition, Sources Say.”
