China's Maritime Nuclear Ships Breaking New Ground

One of China’s leading nuclear power producers, Jiangnan Shipyard, will build a “nuclear-powered floating island” which will serve as “container transfer terminal and a charging station for vessels,” powered by molten salt reactors. The producer said it “would “become a new ecosystem for zero-emission ocean container logistics” and provide a “groundbreaking solution for the global shipping industry’s carbon neutral transformation.” No windmills here.
