FBI Arrested Five in Plot for Drone Attack on White House UFC Fight

Details are sketchy, but on June 16 Fox News reported that five people have been arrested and another 23 are under investigation in California, Ohio, and Missouri over charges of a “planned attack” against the June 14 Freedom 250 UFC cage fighting at the White House. The FBI led a multi-state effort starting on June 10 to disrupt this alleged plot against the UFC event. The first arrest took place in Cincinnati, Ohio. There are few details as to how realistic or how advanced the alleged plot may have been.

On June 16 FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X, “On June 10, FBI and our law enforcement partners became aware of a potential threat to the UFC America 250 event in Washington, D.C. involving individuals outside of the National Capital Region...this work remains ongoing and we will continue to update the public as permitted.”

Secret Service director Sean Curran issued a statement: “In the days leading up to this weekend, our special agents, mission support personnel, and technical security teams worked around the clock to identify those responsible and hold them accountable.”
