UK, French, and German Ambassadors Meet With Russian Foreign Ministry

On Thursday, June 11, the ambassadors of the so-called E3 countries traveled to Moscow to sit down with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin. The meeting reportedly lasted an hour and a half. The move is an unprecedented step from the countries that have been the leading proponents of the proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. The meeting came after a coordinating session between the heads of state, who met in London on June 7 with Ukrainian President Zelensky and released a joint statement with five “conditions” for ending the war in Ukraine, including unacceptable terms for Russia, such as peacekeeping troops in Ukraine and Russia paying war reparations.

In Moscow, the ambassadors reportedly conveyed the results of the London meeting, and pushed for direct Russia-Ukraine talks in line with Zelensky’s recent demand, along with the involvement of the US.
