From ‘No Talks to Putin,’ EU Leaders Scramble for ‘Who Talks To Putin’

The current brawl in the EU over Antonio Costa’s initiative towards Russia is the newest evidence that the EU is a ship of fools. Remember how then EU-rotating chairman Viktor Orban was ostracized when he attempted a mediation between Kiev, Moscow and Washington. No negotiations with Putin, was the order from Brussels. Now, even Zelensky has begged the EU to start talks with Russia. Some EU member countries did the same. Thus, EU Council chairman Antonio Costa opened a dialogue channel at the beginning of June, and made it known on June 17.
