After the latest strikes by the U.S., Iran has decided, as reported by TASS, to close the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic. This apparently includes countries previously allowed through, such as India, China, and Russia. The decision was announced by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces. They added that Tehran would give “a firm” and “devastating” response to any aggression from the U.S. military.
The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that it had struck two ships trying to pass through the strait. They warned all vessels in the region that any movement toward the strait would be regarded as collaboration with the adversary.
