The IRGC claimed in a statement published by Tasnim this morning, to have hit “Four important targets at a US airbase in Al-Azraq, Jordan (Muwaffaq Salti Air Base) including an F35 fighter jet hangar and the US command and control center at the base, among 21 targets hit overall,” during Iranian retaliatory strikes against overnight U.S. air strikes.
The IRGC’s assertions of 21 targets struck across the region early Wednesday “are simply not true,” a U.S. official told The New York Times. Even the Middle East Spectator called the IRGC claim “inaccurate.”
