Israel's Ben-Gvir: Round Up Lebanese Women and Children, And Throw Them Into ‘Terrorist Prisons’

At an Israeli government political-security cabinet meeting June 9, as other Ministers called for expanding military operations in Lebanon, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for rounding up Lebanese women and children, whose husbands are suspected of being Hezbollah members, and throwing them into “terrorist prisons,” reports the June 9 Jerusalem Post.

“Let’s start thinking outside the box about Hezbollah,” Ben-Gvir said. “Also conquering territory and killing many terrorists, but also arresting their women and youth and taking them to terrorist prisons. That’s what hurts them the most.”

The prisons that Ben-Gvir refers to are notorious for brutal beatings and torture, food deprivation (about which he boasts), and sexual abuse. Ben-Gvir is often represented as a fringe figure, but some of his proposals become policy for Israel.

People often ask, “How could fascism have arisen in Europe?” Close your eyes, and listen to the savagery and barbarism coming from Ben-Gvir, and his British sponsors, and you’ll have your answer.
