The State Department has announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will hold a signing ceremony this Thursday at the State Department for a Memorandum of Understanding launching “a new public-private partnership to enhance sports diplomacy initiatives and collaborate on the global growth of mixed martial arts.” Joining him at the signing ceremony as the partner of this initiative is none other than Dana White, the President and CEO of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), President Donald Trump’s friend who is set to display the monstrous brutality of his UFC’s cage fighting on the White House lawn on June 14.
The State Department praises UFC as “the world’s leading mixed martial arts organization,” and writes that it was chosen because it reflects “U.S. leadership in modern combat sports promotion.”
