Entering the final week of building the Sare for President conference set for July 5, we are seeing at last the beginnings of a shift away from “two-potty” domination and toward independent thinking. With New York voters rejecting AIPAC and looking for candidates who oppose the war on Iran, and with some Members of Congress walking away from their parties with their heads held high, the campaigns of Diane Sare and Jose Vega and their independent-candidate allies are growing rapidly in influence. Diane will have a statement out this week on the crucial shift in the political situation; Jose’s statement launching the next phase of his campaign is below in the Operations Bulletin.
With our organizing already having started to shift up over the past week, we can hit high gear now in building Diane’s July 5 “America 250 Rededication” conference with its dynamic speakers and nationwide potential. What happens there, including its in-person numbers of attendance, will have a big impact on everything we do.
Not just the revulsion against this blatant imperial war—it’s reportedly more unpopular with Americans than even the Vietnam War became—but the huge economic dislocation flowing from it, are causing this political shift to start. Effects of the global shortages of refined oil products, fertilizers, critical minerals and memory devices—Hjalmar Schacht’s favorite products right now—will persist into 2027, causing depressionary conditions. The first major surge of product inflation to occur in the “tech” sector, is reported below.
Now on Sunday, June 27, throughout the day, attacks by United States forces on Iran’s launch sites and ships in the Strait of Hormuz, supposed to be excused by IRGC attempts to control the movement of ships through the Strait with one case of use of a missile, were in turn responded to by Iranian attacks on U.S. naval installations in Kuwait.
But the stakes we’re fighting for include those of human existence itself. If NATO’s war comes to have the economic effects on Russia, that the war launched by the United States and/Israel is having on the NATO countries, Russia may, someday soon, be forced to retaliate with all of its capabilities.
We need Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s worldwide movement of world citizens, and we need it soon. We can gather an increased number of such citizens together on July 5.
