Lindsey Graham and Trump Trade Mutual Endorsements

On June 19 President Trump endorsed the reelection of Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) just two days after Graham changed his criticism of Trump’s Iran War truce deal to support. More than a few eyebrows were raised. With Senate Republicans prepared to back Trump away from an agreement with Iran remarkably free of geopolitical games, it appears that Trump means to wheel and deal to garner support.

Apparently Graham has been in contact with White House officials including Steve Witkoff to make this arrangement of an election endorsement for support for the Iran peace agreement. The rabid pro-war Graham may be opportunistically attempting to gain a presidential endorsement, fully confident that his soulmate, Bibi Netanyahu, will trigger renewed fighting, with or without Trump’s peace treaty.

Meanwhile, Trump’s endorsement may not be so much of an endorsement of Graham as it is a rejection of Graham’s opponent, Mark Lynch. On April 10 President Trump posted on X](https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116382183704204825) that Graham “is running against a LUNATIC named Mark Lynch, who supports perhaps the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky. I don’t have to go into great detail, but needless to say, Mark Lynch would be a DISASTER for the Republican Party, and Lindsey Graham just, GETS THE JOB DONE. VOTE FOR LINDSEY ALL THE WAY. MAGA! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
