Untapped Potential of Mittelstand Cooperation Germany-China

The EU Commission shows that it has no intention of dropping its demands for special tariffs on Chinese exports to Europe, demanding again that companies with high engagement in China follow the Commission’s “de-risking” strategy. German Mittelstand companies, however, want to invest and produce more in China through more cooperation with the Chinese.

Countering Brussels EU propaganda, Handelsblatt two days ago covered a report by the German Foreign Trade Chamber in China on a visit by a group of southern German Mittelstand firms led by Alois Mueller, CEO of the Mueller Group, already in January this year.
