Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said he has offered Mykhailo Fedorov, who was dismissed as a Defense minister in Kiev on July 15, a role as an advisor in Italy. Promptly, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova answered: why not hire Bin Laden?
“I called him the day after his dismissal and said: When do you want to come to Rome and work with me as an adviser?” Crosetto told Italian daily La Repubblica in an interview published on July 25.
“Wasn’t there anyone competent in Italy who could advise him?” Zakharova wrote on Telegram. “It’s a shame Osama bin Laden didn’t live long enough to see him: He would have been an excellent advisor to the Italian government.”
Italy produces and finances drones for Ukraine, and it is not a conspiracy theory to say that Fedorov—the architect of the deep-strike drone war with Russia—was a key partner and customer for the Italian defense industry during the drone war, and that Crosetto wanted to reward him.
