Between early 2023 and June 2026, British King Charles III has held 7 private one-on-one closed-door meetings at his royal estates in Britain to give orders to Ukraine’s ruler, Vladimir Zelensky. These are more one-on-one meetings with Zelensky than any single leader in the world, and more meetings with Zelensky than with French President Macron, German Chancellor Merz, and British Prime Minister Starmer combined. Charles, a fanatical hater of Russia—inherited from the House of Windsor—has likely done as much to define and control the neo-Nazi policy of Zelensky as any single individual.
To set the record straight, Zelensky has met with King Charles on February 8, 2023, at Buckingham Palace; July 18, 2024 at Blenheim Palace of the Duke of Marlborough (where Winston Churchill was born) during the European Political Community summit; March 2, 2025 at the huge Sandringham private estate of the Windsor Royal family in Norfolk, England; June 23, 2025, at an official lunch at Windsor Castle; October 24, 2025 at Windsor Castle, where Charles gave Zelensky the right to review the 1st Battalion of the Grenadier Guards alongside Charles; March 17, 2026, at an extremely important meeting at Buckingham Palace; and June 8, 2026 at Windsor Castle.
Charles would not meet with Zelensky seven times for reasons of “ceremony”; one “ceremonial meeting” would do. These meetings are for strategic planning and coordination.
Charles has much more power than most people presume or know. Look at the March 17, 2026 meeting of Zelensky at Buckingham Palace with Charles. Charles and Zelensky met first, before Zelensky then travelled to 10 Downing Street to meet with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, where they signed the Ukraine-UK Enhanced Security and Defense Industrial Collaboration Declaration. This agreement, building upon the previous 100-year partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed earlier in 2025, focused on joint defense production: Creating shared British-Ukrainian manufacturing lines and integrating defense supply chains to build weapons together, and fusing together drone technology, such as accelerating the “Lyra program” to jointly develop and build drones and long-range missiles. Recall that it is the British who provided Ukraine with indispensable early drone technology, and which is today producing an average of 12,500 drones per month from June 2026 until the end of 2027 for Ukraine.
This is not to say that Charles developed the British drone technology, or runs battle plans. It works in a different way. But he is deeply involved in strategic-military affairs. King Charles III, not Prime Minister Starmer, is constitutionally the Commander-in-Chief of the British Armed Forces. The Times of London, and Encyclopedia Britannica—or AI systems—will dismiss this as “ceremonial” or symbolic. It is not. As the UK’s head of state, he receives daily a dispatch from the government known as the “Red Box,” which contains MI6 secret memos and intelligence evaluations, policy documents, and defense reports and plans, which he has read daily for forty years.
On April 28, 2026, King Charles, at the invitation of House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, and with the approval of U.S. President Trump, spoke before a joint meeting of Congress, making him only the second British monarch to do so. Although President Trump had not expressed great support for Zelensky, King Charles defiantly told the Congress, “As our people have done so, for more than a century, shoulder to shoulder through two world wars, the Cold War, Afghanistan, and moments that have defined our security, today…. that same unyielding resolve resolve is needed for the defense of Ukraine.” This led to the first of several standing ovations during his speech. This was used by Anglophile agents in the Trump cabinet, to move President Trump away from the August 15, 2025 Spirit of Anchorage toward movement, in some instances, back to the support of Ukraine.
Recall that on May 19, 2014, while in Halifax, Canada, Charles compared Russian President Vladimir Putin to Adolf Hitler.
It is Charles who at the September 17, 2025 banquet he hosted for President Trump at Windsor Castle, and at the September 28, 2026 White House dinner that Trump hosted in honor of Charles, induced Trump to deliver speeches which repudiated the principles of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution.
The Russian government has stated increasingly over the last six months that the British are the driving force for the dangerous European escalation of the war in Ukraine towards a nuclear confrontation. King Charles, using Ukraine, is a driving force, perhaps the prime force, in that British escalation.
