The Pentagon has restored the four casualties that it removed from the Iran war death toll last week, three of whom had been killed by Iranian missile strikes in Jordan on July 17 and the fourth in northern Iraq attempting to defuse an Iranian drone that had crashed without detonating. The kicker is that those four are in a separate category called “Overseas Operations,” created to maintain the fiction that they died in a separate war. Also included in that category are 207 wounded not previously reported.

When combined with the Operation Epic Fury casualties, the totals come out to 18 dead and 624 wounded.
