Stop the Defense Authorization Act From Indicting The Nation

This week we are called upon for action. This is the week that can be decisive in shifting the behavior of Congress, by rallies and a steady barrage of calls demanding rejection of the “Israeli-U.S. partnership” pieces of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Sections 219 in the House version and 1217 in the Senate version of that Act. This “partnership,” if not voted down, will effectively merge the military-industrial complex of the United States with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), abandon U.S. sovereignty in controlling its own actions in Southwest Asia, and—much worse—involve the United States directly, under international law, with the past three years’ constant commission of war crimes and genocide by the Israeli government of Benjamen Netanyahu, in Gaza and the occupied territories as a whole.

Those parts of the NDAA must be stopped. Moreover, the NDAA as a whole will open the way to hidden “venture capital funds”—slush funds—which fund tens of billions of dollars in secret collaborations in “lethality” invisible to the public. One example which has already flowed under the bridge: the U.S.-Israeli collaboration exposed by the Washington Post to devise the “exploding pagers” used just before the IDF bombed and invaded Lebanon.

These inventions and “plans” for war crimes have come from London, with former MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove at times bragging about having coordinated British with American with Israeli war strategies.

The statement to the media by Rep. Adam Smith, the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, that he has switched from support to opposition against this unholy partnership, because of constituency pressure, points the way. The amendments of Representatives Ro Khanna, Thomas Massie, and other opponents can be reintroduced and strip out Section 219. In addition, there are organizations which have already been mobilized against Israel’s war crimes in Gaza, but which have not yet mobilized against the U.S.-Israel complete war partnership which the NDAA in its current form would create.

The Presidential campaign of LaRouche associate and independent candidate Diane Sare, is calling on those organizations and movements to focus their mobilizations, generate the numbers of calls which will quickly “get the attention” of Members of Congress, and stop these NDAA provisions.

In a sign of the urgency which Israel’s government of war criminals attaches to these provisions of the NDAA—what they call the shift “from aid to partnership”—the Jerusalem Post has run articles and editorials virtually every day in the past week, hyping “what America gets” out of entering such a deadly alliance. These feature the constant refrain that “wars create jobs,” and producing military waste creates productivity. We examine one of them below.

These claims also originate in London, which is selling them all over Europe while leading a mobilization of economies for another war—the hybrid warfare by which economically collapsing Europe supposes that it will destroy Russia.

This week, Israel’s war criminal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit President Trump and Washington for at least the sixth time this year. His objective will be that memorandum of military partnership.

To “update” President John Quincy Adams’ famous words, the American republic does not go abroad in search of monsters to partner with, in mass murder of human beings. Send “Bibi” home empty-handed. Stop the U.S.-Israel military merger.
