The IRGC put out a statement on Saturday which is a list of all of the US military assets it claims to have destroyed since July 17. “Iranian armed forces destroyed 11 U.S. combat aircraft and helicopters on the ground while they were stationed at U.S. bases across the region,” said IRGC spokesman Haj Mohammadi. “During the same series of strikes, 17 reconnaissance and operational drones were also destroyed, including eight newly delivered and unused drones. Additional losses included one F-15 fighter jet inside a hardened aircraft shelter, one P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, one C-17 military transport aircraft, and eight aerial refueling aircraft.”
The attached list includes 37 radars of various types, maintenance and support infrastructure, an extensive list of operational support infrastructure, as well as long list of aircraft, both manned and unmanned.
If the Iranian claims about the radars is even partially accurate–and there is satellite imagery backing many of the Iranian claims–the US military in the region is now mostly blind as well as dumb. Much has been said about how difficult precision munitions and missile interceptors are to replace but replacing advanced radars is even harder.
