U.S. Central Command announced late on July 22 that it had completed its 12th consecutive round of night time strikes on Iran. “U.S. forces struck Iranian military targets including maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, coastal surveillance sites, and air defense assets,” it said. “The strikes further degrade Iran’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial vessels.”
The Enemy Watch Telegram channel summarized the reports on the U.S. attacks as follows: “Sirik was targeted at least 6 times, Bushehr at least 4 times, Ahvaz at least 6 times, Ramshir at least 4 times, Bandar-e Mahshahr at least 3 times, Tabriz at least 2 times, Andimeshk at least 2 times, while Shalamcheh border crossing in Khuzestan province, Bandar-e Anzali, Larak Island, Ziarat-e Sirik naval outpost, and Zanjan were each reported as targets at least once.”
“The primary objectives included Bushehr city and the Shalamcheh border crossing between Iran and Iraq. Iranian authorities confirmed that multiple locations in Sirik and Larak Island were struck, while smoke and large fires were observed in Sirik and Bushehr following the attacks. Reports also indicated strikes on the Ziarat-e Sirik naval outpost, missile attacks near Ahvaz, Ramshir, Bandar-e Mahshahr, and Andimeshk, as well as attacks on the passenger terminal area of the Shalamcheh border crossing in Khuzestan Province.”
