For the first time in two weeks there were no U.S. strikes on Iran on Friday night. Nonetheless, Iranians don’t think the war is over. Iran has drawn up a new list of targets inside Israel in the event of any Israeli attacks, an Iranian security source told Al Jazeera. The new targets would be of the kind that could not be repaired or rebuilt for years, the source said, and striking them would “accelerate emigration from Israel.”
AJ notes that the comments come during heightened Iranian sensitivity over the Pickaxe Mountain site, referred to by Iranians as the Shahid Alimohammadi facility. Iranian sources have warned any strike on the location would draw a response against Israel, even if the United States carried out the attack without declared Israeli participation.
