Putin Advisor Warns of ‘Semi-Military’ Action Against European Drone Factories

Andrei Fedorov, an advisor to President Putin and a former deputy foreign minister, told the BBC’s Newsnight that Moscow regards Britain’s release of missile production data to Ukraine (see our reporting as “direct military involvement” in the war, which he said had now moved “beyond Ukrainian borders.”

Asked what might follow, Fedorov said: “There might be different political steps, and I cannot exclude 100 percent that there might be some semi-military, for example.” Pressed on what “semi-military” meant, he said “something might happen with enterprises, with the factories which are producing drones for Ukraine. They could be attacked, not by Russia, but by… from unknown sources.”
