Coverage of Nuclear Peace Conference Appeal to Pope Leo Grows

Today alone, the “Appeal to Pope Leo to Organize a Global Leaders Summit to Address the Questions of Peace and Nuclear Disarmament,” initiated by Professor Peter Kuznick; Pax Christi New York State Council’s Jack Gilroy, and Ivana Nikolić Hughes of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, was posted to three more websites in different parts of the planet.

One was the U.S.-based Consortium News, which titled its posting “A Nuclear-Sanity Appeal to Pope Leo XIV,” thus making it available to its broad audience of English-speaking opponents of the war party. Consortium News usefully embedded links to some of the nuclear-war items listed in the Appeal, including Tulsi Gabbard’s dramatic June 25 warning after her visit to Hiroshima.

Another was on the TTF + Jan Oberg Substack, which posted the link to the Appeal on the Nuclear Insanity Substack of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. That is the Substack of the Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research (TFF), which is also in English, but this network of international peace activists is based in Sweden.
