The LaRouche Movement’s Dennis Small was interviewed August 8 by retired Spanish Army Col. Pedro Baños on the colonel’s YouTube channel, “El Canal del Coronel.” Baños, a prominent figure in anti-globalist circles in the Spanish-speaking world, has more than 960,000 subscribers, around a third of them in Ibero-America. Interviewed live for around an hour and 45 minutes, this was a timely, British-bashing, thought-provoking, and solution-oriented intervention at this time of global nuclear war threat and a “Ceuta crisis” which triggered a new wave of anti-immigrant (and with it anti-Sanchez) fervor in Spain.
Baños billed the program as “Geopolitics & Finances: True Power Unveiled. Revealing Who Benefits from the Conflicts and Wars.” He described Dennis as “an American economic analyst, author, and leader associated with the Lyndon LaRouche political movement,” citing his roles in Executive Intelligence Review (EIR) and the Schiller Institute. “He is highly critical of the global financial system, the hegemony of the dollar, and the policies of the world’s major powers. His analyses challenge the influence and power of the global economic elites, who, in reality, dictate national policies and, consequently, the lives of citizens. In this episode, he reviews the major global conflict zones, with a special focus on the most relevant recent news.”
