Brazil’s Monitor Mercantil has called attention to EIR News's Sept. 28 note on the Fed back in raging QE mode. Editor Marco de Olivera cited and linked to Paul Gallagher’s note, “Financial Times Covers Up the Fed’s Galloping QE,” on EIR News. He concluded his report, the lead item in his regular column in the daily on Sept. 29, with this warning: “‘The Fed’s balance sheet is once again nearing $7 trillion, ten times the level recorded when this crisis began in 2007. The question is: to what extent can the Federal Reserve still expand its operations when the next crisis actually hits?’ asks Gallagher.”
