Families of Israeli victims of the October 7 massacre presented their “7/10 File” today in Tel Aviv, accusing Prime Minister Netanyahu of a deliberate policy towards Hamas that would inevitably result in tragedy. They charged that Netanyahu had deliberately ignored all warnings leading up to the Oct. 7 attack. According to Ynet news, they also “protested what they described as the exploitation of the massacre during the election campaign.”

At today’s press conference on the “7/10 File,” Merav Svirsky, whose parents died on Oct. 7 and whose brother died in Hamas captivity, said Haaretz’s report that Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed had warned Netanyahu days before the attack shows that “it could’ve been prevented, but the prime minister chose not to act.” She said the Israeli failure “was not merely a failure at a single moment. It was a choice to repeatedly ignore the warnings.”
