Peskov Strongly Denies Russian Involvement in Leipzig Drone Gambit

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov today forcefully rejected the baseless claims circulating in Germany that a drone found recently at the Leipzig airport had anything to do with Russia—claims which have been used to whip up an unprecedented anti-Russian campaign not only in Germany, but across the EU.

“We have taken note of the fact that the accusations against the Russian Federation were made completely without any basis. We categorically reject these accusations and consider them completely baseless, lacking any convincing argumentation,” Peskov stated.
