“We are issuing the strongest possible warning to the United Kingdom about the consequences of further escalation” of your “unrestrained and increasingly multifaceted assistance and support” for Ukraine, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters today.
TASS reported that Ryabkov stated that by so doing, London is directly violating “a number of legally and politically binding documents, both bilateral and multilateral… The UK has thereby put itself on the verge of transitioning from a de facto party to the conflict to a de jure party. They are risking their own security.”
