More than 120 Russian and Indian companies and organizations will participate in the “Innoprom India” International Industrial Exhibition being held in the Indian capital of New Delhi on September 9/11. The event is being held ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit taking place in New Delhi on September 12-13. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be holding an important bilateral meeting in New Delhi on Sept. 11.
Among the Russian exhibitors at Innoprom will be the Rostec State Corporation, the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, the aluminum company Rusal, the rail equipment manufacturer Transmashholding, the financial services company Sber, the United Aircraft Corporation, the United Engine Corporation, the fertilizer producer PhosAgro, the Russian Export Center, the Center for Research in Perspective Technologies, the Nanotechnology Center of Composites, Arnest UniRus, the international payment platform A7 and Alfa-Bank, as well as exporters represented at regional stands from Moscow and the Krasnodar, Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk regions.
Rostec, Russia’s state industrial and defense conglomerate, said earlier that it would showcase the PD-8 aircraft engine, a turbofan jet developed for civilian airliners. Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation will showcase the latest models of their MS-21, SJ-100 and Il-114-300 short to medium range civilian airliners.

The Russian rolling stock manufacturer Transmashholding (TMH) will be exhibiting a high-speed train model designed for joint Russian-Indian production. The train is being manufactured in India in a joint venture between TMH’s subsidiary Metrowagonmash and India’s state-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited named Kinet Railway Solutions.
The exhibition’s plenary session will be entitled “Enhancing Russian-Indian Trade and Industrial Partnership: Towards Greater Self-Reliance.” It will be attended by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
