South African Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola charged that Donald Trump’s “migration” policy allowing white Afrikaners to settle in the U.S., due to supposed discrimination against whites in South Africa, is a racist policy and is known as “Apartheid 2.0” in South Africa.

Lamola made the remarks at an African Diaspora Forum in Washington, according to footage posted on Sunday on YouTube by South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO).

“Only white Afrikaners from South Africa are allowed to be refugees here. And all of you or any other race is not allowed. It’s a race-based policy, which we call the Apartheid 2.0,” he said. He added: “We don’t consider this a immigration program, because there is no genocide in South Africa…. No conditions meeting the UN requirements for refugees are found here.”

State Department figures show that more than 13,000 South Africans have already been resettled in the U.S.

Meantime, as South Africa prepares for Nov. 4 elections, which are being subverted by British and American circles who want to bring down the ruling ANC party, President Ramaphosa spoke out on relations with the U.S. In remarks to journalists on the sidelines of the ANC Veterans League fundraising golf day at the Johannesburg Country Club in Woodmead on Monday, President Ramaphosa said: “We are quite willing and prepared to continue engaging with the United States as we engage with all other countries in the world…. Where there are challenges, we will go in with our dignity, with our sovereignty to engage with those countries without bowing our heads and treating those nations respectfully and expecting them to treat us also respectfully…. We also trade with them, and there are certain things or products that they need from us that we also need from them. So that in itself should bring about the state of equilibrium. So, as we deal with each other, as states that respect each other, we will find solutions.”
