Cooperation with Ukrainian security forces is increasing in Germany, not only in the military, with armament training, but also with the police. For example, it was announced recently that the Baden-Württemberg police shall learn from their Ukrainian colleagues how to deal with drones, and that police cooperation shall be strengthened between both countries. A letter of intent to that effect was signed with the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, when BW Interior Minister Manuel Hagel visited Kiev earlier in September. There also is significantly more on the level of this kind of training, apart from that involving city partnerships, etc.
