Ali Bagheri Kani, deputy for international affairs at the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said that Monday’s quadrilateral meeting in Tehran, involving Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan was the result of the Iranian nation’s resistance and the courage of its Armed Forces. Speaking after the meeting, Bagheri Kani said the gathering took place amid major strategic developments in the region over recent months, which he attributed to the “brutal aggression” of the Israeli regime and the “terrorist US government,” reported IRNA.

“Today, everyone acknowledges that the resistance of our Armed Forces and people, alongside the wisdom exercised by our dear Leader, has not only thwarted the United States’ objectives but also left it at a loss,” he said.

Bagheri Kani said the concept of “Greater Israel,” which he argued encompasses many countries in the region, has reinforced regional countries’ shared understanding that the Israeli regime was the source of instability, and has created a basis for cooperation to establish security within the region.
