Accompanying President Donald Trump’s warnings to Iran to capitulate or else, is the flow of additional U.S. military forces towards the Southwest Asia region. The USS Theodore Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier Battle Group is reportedly on its way to the Indian Ocean, after having departed San Diego last Sunday, followed by the USS Makin Amphibious Ready Group carrying 2,200 Marines and all their equipment. Both task forces are expected to arrive in the region mid- to late-November.
Officially, the U.S. Navy has only confirmed that the ships have deployed. It’s not clear if the Roosevelt will be replacing the USS George Washington or not. If not, then there will be three aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea simultaneously, along with two amphibious ready groups within the time frame for possibly resuming the military campaign against Iran. Trump told reporters on Thursday, “Now I have to make a decision: either Iran signs the deal, or it won’t exist any longer.”
It’s more than likely that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pressing Trump hard to resume bombing Iran, a decision that would serve Netanyahu’s purposes and that of his British puppet masters. On Friday, according to a “scoop” posted by Axios’s Barak Ravid, Trump’s top advisors, chaired by JD Vance, met secretly at Camp David to discuss next steps in the Iran war and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen. Also present, among others, were Secretary of State Marco Rubio, self-styled Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine. “Things were decided or at least deeply discussed,” one official told Ravid.
