Israel Assassinates Iran's Security Chief in Decapitation Strike

Iranian authorities confirmed overnight, Tehran time, that Ali Larijani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, was killed the night before in an Israeli decapitation strike. Tasnim reported that the SNSC secretariat said in a statement that “the pure souls of martyrs embraced the pure soul of the righteous servant of God, Martyr Dr. Ali Larijani, who, after a lifetime of striving for the exaltation of Iran and the Islamic Revolution, finally achieved his long-held desire.”
