Patrik Baab, a well-known author and journalist from Germany, and Scott Ritter, former UN weapons inspector, were jointly interviewed Sept. 5 by Joe Lauria of Consortium News, where it is posted. Both absolutely ridiculed the much-hyped claim that Russia is responsible for the explosive-laden drone found in early August at the Leipzig-Halle Airport, which has led to a rapid escalation of German government operations against Russia and escalated talk of war.
Patrik Baab said there was “no single proof” linking the drone to Russia, that it was certainly just propaganda by the government. He added that the drone itself sounds like a “toy for children,” and the purpose of the stunt was to get Germany to provide long range missiles to Ukraine and/or bring Germany into a war with Russia.
