During his trip to the United States, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius signed or confirmed deals with the U.S. military-financial complex, including the purchase of three complete units of HIMARS long-range missile launchers to be shipped to Ukraine. This deal, as well as the purchase of 60 twin-engine “Chinook” transport helicopters, produced at a Philadelphia Boeing helicopter factory which Pistorius also visited yesterday, are financed by the “special fund” for the German armed forces.
