Bridenstine responded to Rogozin’s statement Monday that Russia is not likely to join the Artemis program, with a 13-page screed which is a non sequitur in terms of Russia’s reasons on Artemis. It then fills up space touting all the good things the U.S. is doing.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijiang was asked yesterday by the South China Morning Post about the Accords (rules entities must abide by to participate in Artemis). He said the Outer Space Treaty and the UN already set rules of the road. He said that “China is ready to continue international exchanges and cooperation,’ and that China “supports discussion on a legal system for space resource exploitation on the UN platform within the framework of existing outer space rules…”
