Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted during his annual press conference on Dec. 26 that Russia is listening carefully to the comments coming from the incoming Trump team, but it is up to the U.S. to take the first step. “We certainly can hear the Trump team’s statements about their interest in resuming dialogue; this is an absolutely reasonable and normal thing,” he said.
