The Republican-controlled Senate Appropriations Committee yesterday released its budget bill for FY21, which is already in progress. NASA"s budget does not include the $3.2 billion increase that NASA determined it must have to keep the Artemis lunar landing on a 2024 schedule. The small increase for NASA is to reinstate programs that had been eliminated by the White House. There has been bipartisan agreement among the congressional leadership of support for the lunar program, at a somewhat slower pace.
