The Biden campaign is using a brand new Stanford Economics Department study, claiming that Trump’s rallies kill people from Covid-19. First, were it true, it would show that there were 10 extra deaths per day added to the death totals in the country from Covid-19 — or 1/20 to 1/40 of the extra deaths from the “Trump Derangement Syndrome” delay of the vaccine.
There are many shortcomings of the Stanford report, which studies 18 rallies from June to September, 15 of which were outdoors.
While there may be issues with rallies and an increase of Covid-19 cases, it appears marginal at best; and the issue is being raised primarily by people who ignore overt and cynical actions that are causing more than an order of magnitude more deaths.
