President Putin Repeats Call for In-Person P5 Summit To Resolve Pressing World Problems

Speaking yesterday at the ceremony at which foreign diplomats presented their credentials, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed the hope that an in-person summit of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council could take place as soon as the coronavirus situation permits. As reported by TASS, Putin said “I am convinced that despite all the current difficulties and differences, we need to energetically resolve the issues, move forward and advance the unifying international agenda. That is what we were guided by when we put forward the initiative to hold the summit” of the P5.
