Moderna Vaccine Passes FDA's Independent Advisory Board 20-0.

Moderna’s mRNA vaccine passed the FDA’s independent board of advisors today, by a vote of 20-0, with 1 abstention. The vaccine can be stored in normal freezers until ready for use, and then in refrigerators for 30 days. However, Moderna’s trial showed a somewhat greater likelihood to induce side effects than the Pfizer vaccine. About one in six of the vaccine recipients had significant reactions, though not on the level requiring hospitalization.
