Yesterday evening, Joe Biden doubled down on last week’s vow to “move heaven and earth” to correct what he called the “dismal failure” of Operation Warp Speed (OWS):
“We’ll have to move heaven and earth … to increase vaccine supply, and to get it out the door as fast as possible.” Biden put center stage in last night’s address what his befuddled mind thinks is an impressive goal — distributing 100 million shots in his first 100 days.
Over a million distributed doses per day is already the reality (a little ahead of Biden’s vaunted plan). Someone should wake up the President-elect.
In fact, OWS has already arranged for 200 to 230 million vaccine shots by the end of March – 30 days earlier than Biden’s goal — and Gen. Gus Perna has already proven his logistical operation can distribute the vaccines. Apparently, Joe will have to dump 100 to 130 million doses into the ocean in the 30 days of April in order to meet his vaunted goal – and he may well need to “move heaven and earth” to accomplish that.
