Several leading members of the Trump administration resigned today, claiming they were shocked over the violent events that occurred in the Capitol yesterday. Among those who resigned are National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, Special Envoy to Northern Ireland Mick Mulvaney, Deputy National Security Adviser Matt Pottinger, Ryan Tuly, Senior Advisor for European and Russian Affairs at the National Security Council, and John Costello, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence and Security at the Commerce Department. Tyler Goodspeed, acting chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers also resigned today.
