Stockholm Webinar on Xinjiang: ‘The Wonderful Land’ and Gateway to the Belt and Road

The Belt and Road Institute in Sweden held a webinar on Wednesday, July 14, to address the questions about the Chinese province of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, which the Chinese call “the wonderful land". Moderator and Vice Chairman Stephen Brawer pointed to the strategic position of Xinjiang, as the Westernmost province in China making it into the gateway to the West and the hub of most of the land-based logistics and transport between some of the most productive provinces of China, and Europe, South Asia and West Asia and Africa. https://youtu.be/EiihV9XeC_M
