The State Department reported in a statement issued today that “senior officials” from the US, Australia, Japan, and India met virtually today “as part of regular Quad consultations to advance a free and open Indo-Pacific region.” In other words, they met as part of the Anglo-American imperial drive to contain China. “The four democracies acknowledged that global security and prosperity depends on the region remaining inclusive, resilient, and healthy,” the statement said.
