In a move that has progressives and Democratic left-wing radicals howling in rage, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) wrote in an opinion piece published yesterday in the Wall Street Journal, that he absolutely would not vote to pass the $3.5 trillion social spending package that Democratic Congressional leaders are desperate to ram through, together with a $550 billion infrastructure bill. Addressing real-world problems, Manchin scolded those Democrats who propose to pass the “largest single spending bill in history with no regard to rising inflation, crippling debt or the inevitability of future crises. Ignoring the fiscal consequences of our policy choices will create a disastrous future for the next generation of Americans,” he warned.
