Iran UN Ambassador Warns Severity of Israeli Threats Increasing

In the Iranian view, Israel is already at war with Iran. In a letter to the UNSC on Oct. 13, Iranian ambassador to the UN Majid Takht Ravanchi warned that the frequency and severity of Israel’s provocative and adventurous threats had steadily increased over the past months and reached an alarming level, reported Tasnim News. Such blatant systematic threats against one of the founding members of the United Nations are a gross violation of international law, in particular Article 2 (4) of the UN Charter, he declared.
