On the eve of the COP26 conference, The Netherlands and Sweden decided to join the pro-nuclear club of 10 nations led by France. The club, which is about to extract a substantial concession from the EU Commissíon to grant nuclear the status of “green” energy in its list of fundable energy sources, previously comprised Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Finland, France, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Estonia recently signalled that it would also join the club.
