Latest Study on Infection and Hospitalization Risks for the Unvaccinated vs. the Vaccinated

An update was released on the differences between the vaccinated (V) and the unvaccinated (U) in testing positive for COVID-19 and for being hospitalized. The State Health Department in Washington tracks this, and their report for cases from Dec. 1-28 is broken down into three age groups. The U from 12-34 years of age are twice as likely to get infected and ten times more likely to be hospitalized than the V. The gap grows for the 35-65 year-olds, to three and fourteen times, respectively. Finally, the U in the 65+ group is six and thirteen times, respectively. They are also fifteen times more likely to die.
